So this new magazine Popworld Pulp, it's not going to be anything as good as popjustice, is it?
ALSO I'm thisclose to giving up watching Popworld, the interviews are so crap, they only ask about two questions! Was the 90s thing meant to be a reference to Tied to the 90s? Coz otherwise it was a bit insulting to Travis.
Would some kind soul care to enlighten us how exactly you go about getting tickets for the recording of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, as I tried the BBC Ticket webpage and the Talkback Thames website to no avail.
Preston storms out of Buzzcocks recording 11/01/2007 - 14:15:52
Ordinary Boys frontman Samuel Preston has walked out of a recording of pop quiz Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
The singer took exception when host Simon Amstell read extracts from an autobiography written by his wife, 'Big Brother' winner Chantelle Houghton.
"Preston just stormed off," said a spokeswoman for the show. "He literally walked out of the building."
Co-host Bill Bailey picked a member of the audience to take Preston's place for the remainder of the recording.
In the offending passage from Chantelle's book, 'Living the Dream', the reality star described a photo shoot where she wore clothes from Marks and Spencer in which she explained that the store had always been too expensive for her and how the photo shoot made her feel "very posh and upmarket".
The singer's brief appearance on Never Mind The Buzzcocks will form part of the new series, which begins on BBC Two on the 27th of January.
Following on from her Panic! at the Disco interview this week (I meant to post this days ago, but kept forgetting), I have to ask: do we think she really bottled Daphne and Celeste at Reading, or was she just saying that in an attempt to look cool and hardcore?
I can't decide which of these options makes her a bigger James Blunt, if you know what I mean and I think you do.
Since PopWorld is crap now and we all just read popjustice.com instead, this community is deadish. So here is a thing that kaliandganesh made and because he's too modest to post himself, I'm doing it for him.
Yay for this community. Being in Melbourne I only get to catch up with Popworld on youtube, but I love it and I especially love Alexa. My favourite popwrold moment so far is her interview with Last Prophets, hilarious. Congrats to Simon for continuing onward and upward, and to you instigators of this community.
Would anybody who's managed to download the farewell clip from Simon and Miquita's last episode be kind enough to yousendit it to a fellow mourner? I can't find the last episode on any torrent sites, and my tarded computer won't run SDP. :( I'll be eternally grateful and give you cookies.
